Bridge and Tunnel Love

Through God's grace, a girl from Queens and a Jersey boy serendipitously reconnected as adults because unbeknownst to them, they shared the same elementary school playground as children. In each other, not only have Janet and Robert found a partner, but a sanctuary of peace - a love that is steadfast that binds their hearts in harmony. With hearts full of gratitude, they thank you for the important roles you've played in their lives and can't wait to spend this momentous day with you!

What airport should I fly into?

Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, NJ is the easiest, but you can certainly fly into LaGuardia Airport or JFK Airport in Queens, NY.

How do I get to New York City from my hotel?

A car or Uber ride to Willowbrook Park & Ride bus station in Wayne, NJ is your best option. There is free parking on the weekends for your personal vehicle. Once there, you can purchase a bus ticket at the many kiosks available, download and use the NJ Transit app, or pay cash when walking on the bus. Buses arrive at the station every 20 minutes. Round trip tickets are $19. An express bus from Wayne, NJ to Port Authority in NYC (Between 40th and 42nd Street on 8th Avenue) is approximately 35 minutes. You can also drive by taking Route 23 South to Route 46 East to Route 3 East and follow the signs to New York City. If driving, please be aware that the toll to enter the Lincoln Tunnel is $16 (you'll receive a bill in the mail as it's now cashless) and parking in a lot will be a minimum of $50.

What are the addresses to the wedding and reception?

The wedding ceremony is at 3pm EST at St. John the Evangelist's Catholic Church: 29 N Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ 07621. Their parking lot is in back of the church. The reception is at 6pm EST at Packanack Lake Country Club: 52 Lake Drive W, Wayne, NJ 07470. The drive from Bergenfield to Wayne is about 30 minutes.

Are our children invited?

As much as we love your little ones, only children in the wedding party and immediate family are attending.

What's the weather like in April in New Jersey?

As a state of four seasons, anything can happen! On average, daytime highs can reach the upper 50's or mid-60's F. Light layers are recommended in your suitcase. A thin jacket and scarf are always helpful. We'll update you as the date approaches.

American Dream Mall is the 3rd biggest mall in America. It includes a Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park, DreamWorks Water Park, and LEGOLAND among many other attractions. It's located 15 minutes from NYC in The Meadowlands, which is a complex that includes MetLife Stadium, the home of the New York Giants and New York Jets. (Yes, they play in New Jersey!)
